Bear hunting season opens in Kirov region
In the Kirov region, the bear hunting season begins on March 21. This was informed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the region. The hunting season will end on May 19th. The ministry noted that the extraction of bears under 1 year old and females with cubs is prohibited. However, the prohibition does not include cases where animals pose a threat to human life. It is recommended to catch bears on a bait after leaving the den. With this method of hunting, it is possible to avoid shooting a bear.
