My traditional hunting in Lavniki.

Every year in early October, my friends and I go hunting in Belarus. This year from October 6th to 10th, my friend and trophy hunter Pavel, business partner Dima, my friend—the 2014 Olympic champion Anton Kushnir—and I went on a true man’s hunt at the Lavniki Hunting Estate. Over the course of four unforgettable days in the wild, we immersed ourselves in the raw spirit of the hunt, far from the distractions of everyday life. Our efforts were richly rewarded: we harvested three roe deer, one of which shows strong potential for trophy status; two young wild boars; and, most impressively, a magnificent red stag whose antlers are undoubtedly worthy of a gold medal. Beyond the trophies, what made this trip truly special was the camaraderie—shared stories around the campfire, the quiet anticipation before dawn, and the mutual respect among friends who understand both the thrill of the chase and the value of genuine companionship. It was more than just a hunt; it was a deeply rewarding experience in the company of true brothers-in-hunt. I honestly never imagined I’d be lucky enough to harvest such a magnificent trophy stag—let alone one with antlers of this extraordinary size and symmetry. When I first spotted him in the evening mist, I could hardly believe my eyes. His rack was not only massive but also beautifully formed, with deep curves, strong beams, and an impressive number of points that spoke to both his age and the pristine condition of his habitat. Standing there in the quiet forest, rifle in hand, I felt a profound mix of awe, respect, and humility. This wasn’t just another hunt—it was a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. Now that the hunt is over and the initial excitement has settled, I’m filled with hope that, once officially measured and scored by the experts, this stag’s antlers will meet the stringent criteria for inclusion in the Belarusian Trophy Record Book. It would be a true honor to see this animal recognized among the finest trophies the country has ever recorded—a testament not only to nature’s grandeur but also to the careful management and conservation efforts of estates like Lavniki. https://m.uh.app/rodoro/hunt/trophy/f593b286-66fe-4c37-9c4a-8e697f148521
