Question for my hiking photographers.
What do you all use when hiking with your camera? My lens is fairly heavy, just a neck strap is not going to be enough for me. I’m planning on doing some fairly long hikes. I’ve been looking into clips, harnesses, and belts but can’t decide what’s best. Obviously I want quick access to my camera while also being secure while hiking! Any and all suggestions welcome. Also should I hike with my monopod or leave it? I usually leave my camera behind when hiking but I’m going to be in bear country this time and don’t want to miss an opportunity, so all advice is appreciated! Thanks!
