Washington’s spring black bear hunt won’t happen in 2022

Hunters won’t get a chance to hunt for black bears in Washington this spring. The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission voted 5-4 not to approve the 2022 spring black bear hunt. The commission had paused the controversial spring black bear hunt after a split vote in November.
