Производители оружия и боеприпасов создавали новые калибры, чтобы удовлетворить запросы рынка. Некоторые калибры становились популярными благодаря успешным моделям винтовок или патронов, другие калибры исчезали из-за низкого спроса. Hunting season 2025 -2026 and bag limits in Pennsylvania
HARRISBURG - At its meeting on January 25, the Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners granted initial approval for the hunting and trapping seasons and bag limits for 2025-26.
The proposed seasons and bag limits closely mirror those established for 2024-25.
Members of the public are encouraged to provide feedback on all proposed 2025-26 seasons and bag limits, as well as other board activities, until the board's meeting in April. At that time, the seasons and bag limits will be finalized and allocations for antlerless deer licenses will be presented.
The board will convene on April 11 and 12 at the Game Commission's headquarters in Harrisburg.
The suggested hunting seasons and bag limits for 2025-26 are as follows:
• Wild turkey (male or female): WMUs 1A, 2G, 3A, 4A, 4B, and 4D – November 1-15; WMUs 1B, 3D, 4C, and 4E – November 1-8; WMUs 2A, 2F, 3B, and 3C – November 1-15 and November 26-28; 2B, 2C, 2D, and 2E – November 1-21 and November 26-28; WMUs 5A and 5B – November 1-4; WMUs 5C and 5D – closed for fall turkey hunting.
• Spring gobbler (bearded bird only): A special season for eligible junior hunters with the required license and mentored hunters 16 and under – April 25, 2026. Only one spring gobbler may be harvested during this hunt, with hunting hours ending at noon.
• Spring gobbler (bearded bird only): May 2-30, 2026. Daily limit of one, with a season limit of two. (The second spring gobbler may only be taken by individuals who possess a valid special wild turkey license.) Legal hunting hours are from one-half hour before sunrise until noon from May 2-16, and from one-half hour before sunrise until one-half hour after sunset from May 18-30.

Review of the Delta Optical Stryker HD 4.5-30 × 56 FFP LRD-1T Scope
As an avid hunter with years of experience in the field, I recently decided to upgrade my rifle scope, opting for the Delta Optical Stryker HD 4.5-30 × 56 FFP LRD-1T. After using this scope on a couple of hunting trips, I feel compelled to share my honest thoughts, both the advantages and drawbacks I've encountered.
Pros:
Optical Clarity: One of the most impressive features of the Delta Optical Stryker is its optical performance. The glass is exceptionally clear and crisp, even at the highest magnifications. It provides fantastic light transmission, which is crucial for dawn and dusk hunts. I found that I could easily identify targets hiding in dense foliage or shaded areas during low-light conditions.
Wide Magnification Range: The 4.5-30x magnification range allows for great versatility. Whether I was stalking deer at close range or spotting pronghorns from a distance, this scope handled both scenarios effortlessly. The ability to zoom in and out without losing focus was particularly impressive and made quick adjustments on the fly possible.
First Focal Plane (FFP) Reticle: The first focal plane reticle is a game changer. As you zoom in, the reticle size adjusts accordingly, making it easier to estimate range and holdover at various distances. This feature significantly improved my accuracy during long-distance shots.
Durability and Build Quality: This scope feels rugged and well-built. It’s made to withstand tough conditions, and I’ve found it to be shockproof and waterproof. On one trip, I accidentally dropped my rifle, and while I was worried about damaging the scope, it held up perfectly without losing zero.
Customizable Turrets: The turrets are easy to use and provide positive clicks, making adjustments straightforward in the field. I appreciated the ability to reset them to zero after sighting in – it’s a small but meaningful feature that contributes to ease of use.
Cons:
Weight: One of the downsides of this scope is its weight. It’s on the heavier side, which can be a drawback during long hunts where every ounce counts.
Price Point: While I believe you get what you pay for, the Delta Optical Stryker is on the pricier end of the spectrum. For some hunters, especially those on a budget, this might be a limiting factor.
Complexity of Features: For newcomers to the sport, the plethora of features might be overwhelming. Understanding how to effectively utilize the FFP reticle and making precise adjustments can take some time and practice.
Limited Availability: Depending on where you live, finding this scope might be a challenge.

Госинспекция в 2024 году изъяла у браконьеров более 12 тыс. сетей и 288 единиц оружия
За 2024 год более 12 тыс. сетей и 288 единиц незарегистрированного оружия было изъято у браконьеров - сообщили в Государственной инспекции охраны животного и растительного мира при Президенте Республики Беларусь.
Всего проведено почти 6,8 тыс. полевых мероприятий, 21 проверка субъектов хозяйствования, в результате которых выявлено более 8,4 тыс. нарушений законодательства. Из них свыше 4,4 тыс. - нарушения правил любительского рыболовства и ведения рыболовного хозяйства, 799 - правил охоты и ведения охотничьего хозяйства, 2,5 тыс. - правил лесопользования.
Как рассказали в госинспекции – было изъято более 12 тыс. сетей общей длиной почти 500 км и около 5,5 тыс. других запрещенных орудий рыболовства, 288 единиц незарегистрированного огнестрельного оружия и 346 других запрещенных орудий охоты.
Как отмечают в учреждении - именно привлечение внимания общественности к осознанному и рациональному природопользованию - самый эффективный метод в борьбе с браконьерством.

Il museo italiano della Beccaccia ha pubblicato un video.
La beccaccia è un vero maestro dell'adattamento, in grado di tollerare con destrezza anche forti schiocchi freddi durante lo svernamento.
Con l'aiuto del suo lungo becco sensibile, scava il terreno alla ricerca di vermi e insetti, anche sotto strati di neve soffice. Il terreno non è congelato, e questa è la cosa principale.
L'areale della beccaccia comprende quasi interamente l'ecozona paleartica. Dall'Europa fino alle isole atlantiche (Azzorre, Canarie) e le isole britanniche, l'Asia fino alla Cina, Mongolia, e Tibet. In Italia si trova nel periodo dello svernamento, tra ottobre e marzo, nei boschi, meglio se misti a caducifoglie, con prevalenza di betulle, carpini, frassini, querce, robinie, castagni, ontani, larici e faggi, ma anche abeti, e pini, in primavera nidifica in un'ampia fascia di territorio che comprende il nord Europa e l'Asia centrale. Solo eccezionalmente nidifica sulle Alpi e ancor più raramente sugli Appennini.
In Italia la beccaccia è specie cacciabile ed è considerata la "regina dei boschi" per la sua maestosità e per la difficoltà nella cattura. In passato, ne era autorizzata la caccia anche all'alba e al tramonto, la cosiddetta posta, durante gli spostamenti per i luoghi di pastura.
A partire dall'Ottocento è stata selezionata una razza di cane, il Cocker Spaniel inglese, oggi apprezzata come cane da compagnia, ma un tempo specializzata nella caccia alla beccaccia (woodcock in inglese), che ha dato appunto il nome alla razza.
Nelle piume dell'ala della beccaccia esiste una particolare penna detta "penna del pittore", che appunto serve ai pittori per le rifiniture di precisione sulle tele.
L’idea di istituire un museo dedicato alla beccaccia ad Anghiari è il completamento di un percorso divulgativo che Paolo Pennacchini, presidente di Ubi (Unione per la beccaccia – Italia) e della Fanbpo (Federazione delle associazioni nazionali dei cacciatori di beccaccia del Paleartico Occidentale) ha voluto dedicare alla sua terra.
Esistono musei più o meno grandi dedicati alla natura e alle specie ornitiche. Ma uno dedicato esclusivamente alla regina del bosco è veramente unico. “Qualcuno dice che sia un’idea stravagante, ma per me e tutto lo staff è un progetto bellissimo” afferma Pennacchini. “C’è tanta attesa e curiosità, lo vedo anche dalle domande dei turisti mentre stiamo allestendo”.
L’idea forte è quella di costruire un ponte fra caccia e ambientalismo. Collegare la conoscenza della specie (biologia-migrazione-habitat attraverso allestimenti multimediali, compresi diorami di tassidermia) al prelievo sostenibile. La volontà è quella di presentare a un ampio pubblico i lavori che vedono impegnati i cacciatori nella ricerca scientifica.

Cody is a city in and the county seat of Park County, Wyoming, United States. It is named after Buffalo Bill Cody for his part in the founding of Cody in 1896.
Wyoming has over 30 million acres of public land, making it a hunter's paradise. Any hunter who dreams of wide open spaces and herds of big game will find that his hunting dreams lead to Wyoming. Most popular hunting animals are pronghorn antelopes, maral, moose, mule deer, and white-tailed deer. The state also offers hunting for bighorn, bison, black bears, mountain lions, wolves, mountain goats, turkeys and mountain birds.
