Сколько стоит горная охота Вопрос о том, сколько стоит горная охота, неоднозначный и требует некоторого разъяснения для «равнинного» охотника, задумывающегося о том, чтобы добыть барана или козла. Я бы разделил ответ на две части: 1) сколько стоит охотничий тур; и 2) сколько стоит то, что необходимо для такой охоты. Вот со второй части мне и хотелось бы начать. Проживая в Республике Казахстан, то есть недалеко от гор, горной охотой я занимаюсь уже не первый год. Ходовая по речкам. Давно не писал отчетов - наконец-то созрел. Все лето у нас как всегда стояла жара, озера высохли до размера луж. Три озера на которых я всегда охотился - высохли на нет. Пару дней не везло с погодой и тут сложилось, сухо, слегка морозно, в общем слышимость отличная, места разведанные. После первой вабы услышали стаю в паре километров от нас. 2100 kilometers in three days, a couple late nights and busy talking to people and giving presentations at the Parkland Outdoor Show & Expo could wear a person out but the energy at this show kept us so energized. It was really humbling talking to people there that said they'd driven all the way from Manitoba or distant locations in Saskatchewan just to meet us. The only downside to to the show was that virtually everyone that we chatted with had a picture of a bigger deer on their phone than TJ has ever taken ;) It was pretty cool spending time with several of the top TV show hosts and outdoor personalities in Canada. Brayden Reed was convicting of spotlighting and shooting two bucks on Oct. 2 and a third buck on private property on Oct. 8 before taking them to BLM’s Ah-Nei Recreation Area where he removed the antlers and backstraps, according to a press release. CHOOSING THE RIGHT HUNTING KNIFE 1. CLIP POINT KNIFE The tip on this knife curves upward and allows you to pierce the hide and cut a pattern. The pattern is the initial cut you make down each leg and up the belly before removing the skin. You can skin your animal with this knife but the shape of the blade tends to cut holes in the hide while skinning. This particular knife is a folding model, easy to carry in a pocket. 2. 25 Tips for Dove Hunters 1. Pick the Right Gun Dove hunting is supposed to be fun, and if you enjoy shooting family heirlooms or featherlight .410s at doves, who am I to tell you not to? But if your idea of fun is hitting more doves, choose a 12- or 20-gauge with some heft and at least a 28-inch barrel. A longer, heavier gun swings smoothly, points surely and soaks up recoil. The best dove shooting I did this past year was with a 12-gauge sporting clays gun. 2. Stock Up On Shells Ammunition is available again, and there’s no reason to run out opening day, which I have actually done. Begging shells from people in the field is just embarrassing. Field or target loads of Nos. 7½ or 8 lead or 6 or 7 steel work. Steel loads kill fine, by the way. Lighter loads, with less shot and lower velocities, kick a lot less than heavy, high-speed stuff, and you will shoot a lot in no more padding than a T-shirt.
