На вертлюжок с другой стороны одевается должик выполненный из прочной кожи или шнура. При посадке птицы на присаду именно должик привязывается за кольцо присады. Также при помощи должика птица удерживается на руке, при перемещении хозяина к месту охоты или в иные места.

Около трехсот тысяч экземпляров молоди сазана выпущено в реку Дон 2-13 сентября при участии специалистов Азово-Черноморского филиала ФГБНУ «ВНИРО» («АзНИИРХ») был осуществлен выпуск 300 тыс. экз. молоди сазана навеской не менее 10 г. в реку Дон ниже Цимлянского гидроузла. Сотрудники ихтиологического поста «Азовский» осуществили подтверждение видовой принадлежности, учет количества, веса, размера, а также соответствия гидрологических и гидрохимических показателей воды в реке в месте выпуска нормативным значениям. Работу по наблюдению за выпусками рыб сотрудники АзНИИРХ ведут регулярно, являясь постоянными членами межведомственных комиссий.
