Set #2 of the FLYING pika! (Please view each image large for details) One of my absolute favorite and most challenging subjects to photograph........the mighty American Pika. These tiny critters the size of a guinea pig, are the speediest and hardest working animals in the alpine zone of the mountains. They are Lagomorphs and closely related to rabbits. They spend most of their days gathering tundra grasses and wildflowers to store in their winter food stashes to be able to survive the cold harsh mountain winters. I spend numerous days and hours each summer up high in the Rocky mountains of Colorado, observing and trying to photograph these little speedsters. Here is the second set of photos. All images captured with a Nikon Z8 and Nikkor 800mm F6.3 lens, some with a 1.4x teleconverter for focal length of 1120mm. Lov muflóna patrí medzi najťažšie poľovačky na Slovensku, nakoľko vynikajúce oči muflónov dokážu poľovníkom sťažiť priblíženie sa k nim, no aj napriek tomu je naša úspešnosť lovu takmer stopercentná. Lov muflónov sa začína ráno a lov pokračuje najmä cez deň, keď sa barany vyhrievajú na skalách a lov prebieha v štýle walk & stelk. Najviac baranov je možné vidieť v období párenia (koniec októbra - november), ale ideálny čas na lov muflónov je aj január a február. Potom majú RAMS najkrajšiu kožu - najvhodnejšiu na prípravu peleríny. Máme vlastného prípravára (30 rokov skúseností) s úžasnou prácou. Сколько стоит горная охота Вопрос о том, сколько стоит горная охота, неоднозначный и требует некоторого разъяснения для «равнинного» охотника, задумывающегося о том, чтобы добыть барана или козла. Я бы разделил ответ на две части: 1) сколько стоит охотничий тур; и 2) сколько стоит то, что необходимо для такой охоты. Вот со второй части мне и хотелось бы начать. Проживая в Республике Казахстан, то есть недалеко от гор, горной охотой я занимаюсь уже не первый год. Ходовая по речкам. Давно не писал отчетов - наконец-то созрел. Все лето у нас как всегда стояла жара, озера высохли до размера луж. Три озера на которых я всегда охотился - высохли на нет. Как и где поймать крупного окуня — заметки спиннингиста С середины марта неплохо ловится окунь на Соже, Днепре и ряде небольших рек, образуя местами преднерестовые скопления. Иногда попадается случайный одиночный окунь, но, как правило, поклевка означает стаю. Впечатление и отчёт о зимней охоте 2021 руководителя проекта «СпектрОптик» Алексея Балашевича. Пару дней не везло с погодой и тут сложилось, сухо, слегка морозно, в общем слышимость отличная, места разведанные. После первой вабы услышали стаю в паре километров от нас. 鹿児島県の喜界島で野生化し頭数が増加傾向にあるシカの駆除数が急増している。2023年度は9月26日時点で165頭と、17年度の駆除開始以降で最多だった22年度実績（76頭）を大幅に上回っている。喜界町農業振興課は「根絶を目指し、このペースで捕獲を進めたい」としている。 　町は18年度と21年度、シカのふん粒確認や自動撮影カメラによる生息実態調査を実施。推計頭数は18年度の115頭から21年度には303頭に増加した。主に百之台国立公園周辺など島中央部や小野津、志戸桶、佐手久など島北部の集落の林などに生息しているとみられ、サトウキビの新芽や牛の飼料などの食害が確認されているという。 　同町では猟友会の協力を得て17年度に本格的な駆除事業を開始。当初2人でスタートした狩猟従事者数は年々増加し、現在は16人。駆除実績は17年度20頭、18年度37頭、19年度40頭、20年度66頭、21年度70頭と推移している。 　事業開始からしばらく、捕獲報奨金は1頭当たり1万円に設定していたが、22年度下半期から1万5千円に増額。今年度からは年間捕獲数が10頭までは同額、11頭以降は2万円にするなど、この2年間で報奨金を引き上げた。 　駆除頭数の増加について同課は「狩猟従事者が増え、設置するわなの増加や捕獲成功率の上昇、報奨金の引き上げ効果などが要因ではないか」と分析。今年度は当初予算で150万円を計上していたが駆除数増加で予算超過となったため、補正予算で200万円を増額しており、「行政もできる限りバックアップして、駆除につなげたい」としている。
