Hunting in Cascades: Waterfalls and wooded savannahs, Lobi traditions, forest wildlife, community vigilance, and conservation-linked hunting Rugged terrain, dense thickets, and the pulse of waterfalls The Cascades Region, named after its iconic waterfalls such as Karfiguéla, lies in the southwest of Burkina Faso and offers a dramatic landscape shaped by cliffs, forested hills, and river basins. The Komoé River winds through the region, feeding both biodiversity and traditional life. Dense wooded savannah and gallery forests dominate the landscape, creating ideal conditions for small and medium-sized game. Unlike the Sahelian expanses of the north, Cascades retains a wilder, greener environment where hunting requires stealth, patience, and deep ancestral knowledge. The region borders Côte d’Ivoire, contributing to a shared ecological zone and complex migratory patterns for wildlife. The Lobi hunter: bearer of skill, story, and ritual authority Among the Lobi people, hunting has lo

Wild hare hunting Morocco: A Hunter’s Tale from the Wild Plains I still remember the morning air—cool, dry, and laced with the scent of wild thyme. The sun hadn’t yet crested the horizon when we set out across the scrublands near Benslimane, rifles slung, dogs eager, and hearts pounding. Hare hunting in Morocco isn’t just a sport—it’s a ritual, a test of patience, instinct, and respect for the land. --- 🐇 The Moroccan Hare: Elusive and Legendary The North African hare (Lepus capensis) is a master of deception. Unlike rabbits, hares don’t burrow—they rely on camouflage and speed. Their lean bodies and powerful hind legs make them lightning-fast across rocky terrain. In Morocco, they’re most active at dawn and dusk, preferring solitude and silence. Locals say, “If the hare ran straight, no man could catch it.” And they’re right. These hares thrive in grasslands, vineyards, cork oak forests, and even semi-arid zones. They’re solitary, nocturnal, and notoriously clever. You won’t fin

Spanish style Sometimes trophy hunters want to unwind on a hunt - without overcoming, overexertion and overload. We recommend you the most exciting hunt for 🐔partridge in Spain. 👏 Everyone will be able to shoot a lot and qualitatively, have fun with friends, relax - thereby getting an emotional charge for a long time! Traditionally in 🇪🇸 Spain, a hunt is carried out by driving. The beaters flush the partridges at some distance from the hunters and direct them to the line of shooters. Every day, 4-5 drives are organized with a break for lunch. On average, it is possible to get 500-800 birds per day. ℹ️ During the day, the hunters change places in the order determined by the drawing. Thus, everyone has the opportunity to try their hand both in the center of the line and on its edges. The hunter is joined at the position by assistants: a "cargador" who reloads the weapon, and a "secretario" who adjusts the direction of the shot and keeps count of the birds killed. There are still

Trompette de la mort .
