I lang tid stod jeg i ubeslutsomhed, og pludselig kom jeg i tanke om, at jeg havde et stykke spæk i min jagttaske. Jubii! Dette spæk vil være den perfekte lokkedue. Jeg tog det op af tasken, bandt det hurtigt fast til en lang og tynd snor og kastede det ud i vandet. Da ænderne ser maden, svømmer de straks op til spækket. En af dem sluger det grådigt. Men fedtet er glat, og da det hurtigt passerer gennem anden, dukker det op bag den! På den måde ender anden på mit reb.
