Hunting in TOZEUR: Tunisian Laws and Legislation, Clubs and Communities, Demographics and Geography (PART II)
Hunting Seasons and Optimal Times
Hunting in Tozeur is regulated by the national hunting calendar, with the main hunting season taking place from October to February. The best times to hunt in Tozeur are during the cooler months of fall and winter, when temperatures are more bearable and wildlife is more active. For small game, such as rabbits and hares, hunting is best done early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when animals are more likely to be foraging. Bird hunting, particularly for quail and pigeons, is also best during the migratory seasons, which occur in the fall and early winter. These species pass through the region on their way south, making it an optimal time for hunters to target them.
Waterfowl hunting, while less common in Tozeur compared to other regions, can be pursued during the winter months when ducks and geese are migrating. The cooler weather an
Drought impacts mule deer antler growth in Texas
Long-term drought has resulted in massive reverberations across the West. In Texas, it has impacted mule deer, particularly herds in the Panhandle and Trans-Pecos areas. With archery season already underway and general season on-deck in a just a couple of weeks, hunters should be aware that, this year, antler growth is below average even though herd health is still holding steady, according to the Texas Farm Bureau.
“I would say the chances of bagging a mule deer would probably be average, but the antler production is going to be quite a bit below average just because we didn’t have any moisture during the antler development time,” said Shawn Gray, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) mule deer and pronghorn program leader.
Low fawn production is also linked to “timely rains, and its impact on forages.” Currently, the average mule deer fawn crop in the Trans-Pecos and the Panhandle is 30% to 35%, which Gray acknowledges should s

Local Hunting Schedules and Regulations in Nordland
Hunting seasons in Nordland are regulated by the Norwegian Environment Agency to promote sustainable wildlife management. Second, your weapon will determine your season, which also determines your experience. It is nearly universal, for example, that archery season for big game happens in September because it coincides with the elk rut (mating season). Hunting during the elk rut is a uniquely powerful experience. During this time, bull elk vie for the attention of cows, piercing the mountain air with their signature bugles, grunts, chuckles, and screams. The ability to hear the animals and understand their intent, and engage in vocal communication with a 600-pound king of the forest, is one of the most intense, thrilling, and addictive elements of archery hunting. Elk language is nuanced and laden with information. As a bowhunter your goal is to paint a picture in the animal’s mind with the timing, location, tone, and intensity of your vocalization. In one situation you might imitate a cow elk looking for love, while in another you might communicate to a bull that you’re a bigger bull ready to rumble. (If

O džungli, pigmejima i lovu kroz prevladavanje 🔥
U šumskom Kamerunu uspjeh lova u velikoj mjeri ovisi o timu planinara. Dobro su orijentirani u šikari, poznaju životinje i imaju neku vrstu nevjerojatnog smisla. Spretan, brz i oštrovidan!

Skylarks, starlings and mistle thrushes: Endangered songbirds licensed to be killed for sport in UK
Skylarks, starlings and mistle thrushes are among the red-listed species approved to be hunted by falconers.
Should endangered wild birds be hunted for sport?
It sounds like an odd question to be asking in 2023, in the midst of a biodiversity crisis.
Yet, at a time when many avian species in the UK are under threat of regional extinction, government data reveals falconers are permitted to hunt rare songbirds.
The data, released this week by government watchdog Natural England, has caused concern among environmentalists.
What is falconry and how is it regulated in the UK?
Falconry involves hunting wild animals in their natural habitat using a trained bird of prey.
There are reportedly around 25,000 falconers in the UK. The sport itself dates back hundreds of years, and it has seen a resurgence in recent times.
While it remains legal throughout Britain, many outside the hobby are u
