GAME WARDEN RESCUES MULE DEER FROM MUD PIT A mule deer doe is lucky to be alive after being rescued from quicksand-like mud in Idaho. The yearling sunk through a supposed “mud puddle” after she tried to walk across it in a field by Marsh Creek Road north of McCammon during Memorial Day weekend, according to a press release. Fortunately, a homeowner spotted the doe, which was belly deep in the mud and helpless, and contacted Idaho Department of Fish and Game Senior Conservation Officer Nick Noll, who came to the animal’s rescue. Using wooden boards, a shovel, rope and Noll’s 15-year-old neighbor, Cole Gunter, the duo managed to rescue the deer from the sticky mud. Boards prevented them from also sinking as Noll and Gunter used the rope to secure the front and hind quarters of the doe, according to the agency.

Eagles and coyotes had been coming in trying to get a bite, while the Grizzly guarded the carcass, just as its mother taught it to. It would sleep on it and cover it with dirt, and when it seemingly left the scene….it would show back up when other animals tried to feed. On the 3rd morning a lone Wolf 1479 showed up from the Junction Butte pack. It had about 10 minutes to eat before the Grizzly came back. They had an initial stare down. The wolf stood on the carcass and then charged the bear. The bear initially retreated and then decided to charge the wolf. Of course the bear reclaimed the carcass. Номер мой мне не очень нравился, обзор так себе, много слепых зон и кустарника, в итоге понял что волки пришли, только когда увидел что Валера (он же и вабил) напряженно вскинул карабин в сторону отзыва. Через минуту вижу в теплик Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 волка, беру с треноги карабин, вскидываюсь, но мое движение не осталось незамеченным-стоит и смотрит на меня. Three does came out of the cedars earlier that evening, but they were about 155 yards away and moving at a pretty good clip. Then this young deer came out, and when he finally moved out from behind a couple trees in front of me, he stopped quartering toward me and gave me a shot at about 75 yards. I don’t prefer to hunt with a muzzleloader, but the December season seems to be about the only time I get the opportunity to hunt deer. The shot rang and after a moment of blindness, the smoke cleared. I saw the deer bolt about 50 yards to my right. I thought I’d missed him, but as he approached a couple lone cedar trees in the open, he made a sharp, confused U-turn, and then crashed down into the dry creek bed to the north. But scientists have discovered a new tool in the fight against the invasive creature - the powerful nose of man’s best friend. According to a study by Australian and New Zealand scientists, specially-trained canines can detect whether invasive carp are present in water.
