Missouri to Allow Drone Use During Hunting Season Allowing drones to be used in recover is becoming more common across the United States. All use of drones in hunting seasons has been banned in Missouri until now. The Missouri Department of Conservation released several rule changes ahead of the 2024 season. These changes include the approval of drones used specifically in recovering wounded deer, turkey, elk, and black bear. All other uses of drones to aid in the hunt are still prohibited. Pursuing, taking, driving, or harassing wildlife is still not legal. These changes reflect a growing shift toward utilizing technology to prevent the loss of animals. Drone operators must obtain permission before flying over private land in Missouri. They are also restricted from possessing a weapon during flight. There are specific regulations and rules that are required by the state of Missouri to operate a drone, even if only for recreational use. The FAA requires all drone operators to take Th

I have posted this painting before, but it is the last Tuesday in January and The Scarteen Black and Tans meet at Emly as they have for season after timeless season. The country depicted here is crossed from this iconic meet. Emly is a beautiful town, and today the clock will stop at 10.45am as hounds are are paraded up to the school for the children to see. As they pass along the Main Street most doors will open, shops and offices pause in business and traffic pull over to welcome and admire the iconic and beautiful hounds and those mounted who are eager to follow them. This is a place that recognises the valuable and intrinsic part played by the hunt in rural society. Thankfully these places still exist, consequently the hunting is first rate!! Today I am obliged to the easel but my heart is with hounds at Emly. #scarteen #scarteenhounds #blackandtans #emly #huntinginireland #doublebanks #greatcraic #missingyouall #irishhunting #wheremyheartis #thescarteen

The early season is a great time to hunt whitetails. Food sources are plentiful, deer are unpressured and they’re on consistent patterns. The latter point is the most important because that’s what makes them the most huntable. Whitetails are repeating very similar patterns on a consistent basis. That makes them killable. What makes them unkillable? Hunting them incorrectly and in the wrong places. Here are five spots to avoid. 1. Untimely Food Sources Deer are always focused on the food. They shift as food sources change. But generally, they remain in each pattern for several days or weeks. It’s all about finding the best, freshest food source. Deer are concentrate selectors, meaning they are constantly seeking out the best food source on the landscape. Generally, these patterns vary based on geographic location and change from property to property. In one location, deer might be targeting green soybeans. On a neighboring tract, they could be hitting the first of the white oak acorns.

Sarah Bowmar and her husband Josh are fitness and hunting influencers on social media. They are known in the hunting community for their hunting YouTube channel Bowmar Bowhunting. The Bowmars have been at the center of many controversies in the hunting community. Josh was famously canceled by the woke anti-hunting mob for his spear hunt of a brown bear and lost his Under Armour sponsorship. The couple was also at the center of a poaching case in Nebraska that seems more and more to be a hit on the couple. They are also constantly attacked because of all their African hunting trips. Sarah has reportedly killed the largest ever crocodile with a bow. While the video and official measurements are not out yet, here are the pictures. The largest Crocodile ever caught and placed in captivity is just over 20 feet long. unofficial rumors have this crock close to 18 feet! We will keep everyone up to date as more information comes in.

Taxidermy Is Art. No Debates Needed. 🎯 I hunt because I love nature. I mount trophies because I respect it. Taxidermy isn’t some weird obsession or macho flex. It’s the way I capture the wild — raw and honest. That moment when I locked eyes with a rutting buck, or the adrenaline when the boar came crashing through the thicket… a picture fades. A head mount? That’s memory solidified. That’s real. Some folks say it’s just “stuffed animals.” Yeah? Then you’ve never watched a true taxidermist breathe life back into glass eyes and cured hide. It takes more than glue and foam — it takes knowledge, precision, and soul. That’s craftsmanship. That’s art. These trophies on my wall? They aren’t kills. They’re chapters. They’re why I remember every sunrise I froze through, every footprint I followed, every time I sat in complete silence — just waiting. I don’t do it for show. I do it because the wild deserves to be remembered properly. Call it what you want. I call it respect in its purest,

A new luxury trip has been added to our tour range 🥳 THE SARDINE RACE IN DURBAN is one of the most exciting natural phenomena in the world. 🗓 Every year from May to July, a real underwater show unfolds off the coast of South Africa - the Sardine Run, or Sardine Race. ℹ️ The Sardine Run is not just a fish migration. It is a real ocean spectacle, which in terms of scale and spectacle is compared to the Great Antelope Migration in the Serengeti. MILLIONS of sardines move from south to north, caught by the waters of the cold Benguela Current and the warm Mozambique Current. 📈 Sardines make their way over 1000 km long, forming a school more than 15 km long, 1.5 km wide and up to 40 m deep. Dolphins, sharks, seabirds, whales and even seals hunt for sardines. The so-called "bait balls" look especially impressive - 🟠 dense balls of sardines that form when they are surrounded by predators. This is a rare opportunity to see how wildlife works in its pristine harmony and cruel beauty. 🔭

Eskimos started using sunglasses more than a thousand years ago! Incredibly, but it’s a fact. We have already written recently that Inuit (Eskimos) invented some items that are now used by all of humanity. As for example, a waterproof fabric, an anorak jacket and a kayak boat. But there is something even more incredible! Everyone knows that on a sunny day, the bright sun makes your eyes blind. To hunt in bright, blinding light is simply impossible. Most of us use sunglasses in the south and we perceive them exclusively as an accessory for hot countries. But that's because only few of us have been to the north. And we can't even imagine how the sunlight intensifies after reflecting off the white snow. Long before us, Eskimos, according to one version, invented the first sunglasses. Of course, they did not have darkened glass… But they carved it out of bone or wood the likeness of modern glasses with thin slits for the eyes, capable of softening and limiting excessive light. Bear hunting with Laika ( Russian husky ) On this video shown the most correct, typical LAIKA work (hunt) on a bear. The Russian word LAIKA (лайка) is a noun derived from the verb layat' (лаять, to bark), and literally means barker. As the name of a dog variety, it is used not only in Russian cynological literature, but sometimes in other languages as well to refer to all varieties of hunting dogs traditionally kept by the peoples of the northern Russia and adjacent areas. Laikas are aboriginal spitz from Northern Russia, especially Siberia but also sometimes expanded to include Nordic hunting breeds. Laika breeds are primitive dogs who flourish with minimal care even in hostile weather. Laika is a universal breed of hunting dog. Generally, laika breeds are expected to be versatile hunting dogs, capable of hunting game of a variety of sizes by treeing small game, pointing and baying larger game and working as teams to corner bear and boar. However a few laikas have specialized as h

The Champawat tigress is a man-eating animal that killed 436 people! Photo: 1911 Nepal, Jim Corbett. In the early 1900s, the Nepalese region close to the Himalayas was terrorized by the most famous and bloodthirsty man-eating animal. Men, women, and children disappeared into the jungle. The attacks were so frequent and violent that the locals started talking about demons and punishments from the gods. But the Bengal tigress was the culprit! Champawat tigress was forced to hunt humans, but I'll tell you about that later. After people found out that people were disappearing because of the tigress. People started hunting for her, all attempts were in vain. The number of people killed has reached 200! I had to turn to the army. Hundreds of people with guns combed the region in search of her. Fleeing from them, the Champawat Tigress crossed the border with India and stopped in the Kumaon region. Settled in the forests of India, Champawat Tigress went back to her old ways. People began t

ATA ARMS NEO 12 Semi-Automatic Shotgun (Walnut) with a 710mm Barrel Review I recently had the opportunity to try out the ATA ARMS NEO 12 semi-automatic shotgun with a walnut stock and a 710mm barrel, and I wanted to share my honest and detailed thoughts about it. ATA ARMS NEO Pros: Build Quality: The first thing that struck me about the ATA ARMS NEO 12 is its solid construction. The walnut stock feels robust and offers a nice aesthetic appeal. The finish is smooth, and the natural grain of the wood really adds character. Ergonomics: The shotgun fits comfortably in the hands, and the grip is designed well for a secure hold. The balance of the 710mm barrel feels great, making it easy to maneuver both on the range and during a hunt. Reduced Recoil: One of the standout features for me was the reduced recoil. The semi-automatic action helps manage the recoil effectively, which is especially beneficial during extended shooting sessions. Versatility: This shotgun performs well in vario
