Spanish style Sometimes trophy hunters want to unwind on a hunt - without overcoming, overexertion and overload. We recommend you the most exciting hunt for 🐔partridge in Spain. 👏 Everyone will be able to shoot a lot and qualitatively, have fun with friends, relax - thereby getting an emotional charge for a long time! Traditionally in 🇪🇸 Spain, a hunt is carried out by driving. The beaters flush the partridges at some distance from the hunters and direct them to the line of shooters. Every day, 4-5 drives are organized with a break for lunch. On average, it is possible to get 500-800 birds per day. ℹ️ During the day, the hunters change places in the order determined by the drawing. Thus, everyone has the opportunity to try their hand both in the center of the line and on its edges. The hunter is joined at the position by assistants: a "cargador" who reloads the weapon, and a "secretario" who adjusts the direction of the shot and keeps count of the birds killed. There are still

Review of the J.&W. Tolley 12 Gauge Side-by-Side Hammergun (75 cm Barrels) As an avid hunter with years of experience, I recently had the opportunity to take my vintage J.&W. Tolley 12-gauge side-by-side hammergun on a hunting trip for wild boar and geese. This gun, which is over 100 years old, is a true piece of history, and using it in the field was both a privilege and a challenge. Here’s my detailed review, including the pros and cons of this classic firearm. Pros: Craftsmanship and Aesthetics: The J.&W. Tolley hammergun is a masterpiece of English gunmaking. The walnut stock is beautifully figured, and the engraving on the action and hammers is exquisite. Carrying this gun feels like holding a piece of art. The 75 cm barrels are perfectly balanced, giving the gun a classic, elegant look. Reliability: Despite its age, this gun performed admirably in the field. The side-by-side configuration and external hammers (true "курковка") are simple and reliable. I used modern 12

Hunting season in East Belgium In East Belgium hunting can be carried out in an expansive forested area spanning some 45,000 hectares (111,000 acres). The right to hunt there can be obtained by leasing a hunting ground of at least 50 hectares (123 acres) from the forest owners (the Walloon region, the municipalities or the private owners). This lease runs for 6, 9 or 12 years. It goes without saying that every hunter must hold a hunting licence which is obtained by passing a suitable examination. In East Belgium, game predominantly consists of stags, deer and wild boars, the hunting of which is strictly organised by legislation and the large gamekeeping communities. Contrary to popular belief, hunting is not only organised for the pleasure of hunters but, above all, for the purpose of regulating the number of animals in the forest so that the economic utilisation of the forest is ensured. If game numbers are too high, this can result in substantial damage being caused to the rejuvenat

WHAT IS HARE HUNTING? Hare hunting involves the pursuing of hares by a pack of harriers, beagles, or bassets with followers either on foot or on horseback. The Association of Masters of Harriers and Beagles lists 71 current hare hunts that are still operating. Similar to the fox hunting season, hare hunting takes place between late August until March. However, whilst fox hunting takes place all over the country, hare hunting tends to be limited to certain areas and this is because hares stay within their territory. Hares spend the entirety of their lives above ground and so during the chase they do not seek safety underground like foxes do. This means they tend to stick to the area that they know and run in loops whilst being pursued by the hounds. Hare hunts can often last up to an hour with hares desperately doing everything they can to escape. Ultimately the hare being hunted will give up from exhaustion and be caught by the faster hounds before it is ripped to pieces.

Potato Latkes with Alaska Salmon Roe “These little potato cakes called latkes are quick, simple, and versatile. I serve them as a side dish to roasted birds or as a brunch dish topped with eggs and smoked salmon. There are plenty of other uses, but for me the best is the way I had them as a kid. I remember watching my grandmother patiently and lovingly grate potatoes then onions by hand into a bowl. She would crack a few eggs, season with salt and pepper and stir gently so the mixture would just barely assemble. Using a spoon, she would scoop a little batter out and in a well-rehearsed manner, then she would drop them carefully one by one into a hot skillet generously slicked with duck fat. As the cakes sizzled, the intoxicating aromas filled our tiny kitchen. I stood by her side like an untrained puppy panting for his treat. She would give me the very first one, hot, straight out of the pan, unadorned. She would blow on it lovingly so it would not burn my lips and as I took a bite,

Hunting Seasons in LIMINKA BAY: Key Dates, Vital Regulations, Obtaining Hunting Licenses, Restrictions and Conservation Measures Liminka Bay, located on Finland's western coast, offers a unique hunting experience shaped by its coastal terrain and subarctic climate. Understanding the region’s hunting seasons requires knowledge of environmental factors, wildlife behavior, and regulatory frameworks. General Rules and Hunting Periods in Liminka Bay The primary hunting season in Liminka Bay spans from late August to February, with specific dates varying by game species. The Finnish Wildlife Agency sets these periods based on ecological assessments, considering migration patterns, breeding cycles, and weather conditions. Unlike inland regions, Liminka Bay’s coastal microclimate often results in earlier frost and distinct bird migration patterns, influencing hunting schedules. In 2015, Finland implemented stricter measures across all regions, including Liminka Bay, to protect declining wa

Welsh corgi, either of two breeds of working dogs developed to handle cattle. They are similar in appearance but are of different origins. Their resemblance results from crosses between the two breeds. The Cardigan Welsh corgi (see photograph), named for Cardiganshire, can be traced back to dogs brought to Wales by the Celts about 1200 BC. The original type was known as the Bronant and was related to the progenitors of the dachshund. The Pembroke Welsh corgi (see photograph), of Pembrokeshire, is descended from dogs brought to Wales by Flemish weavers about AD 1100. The ancestors of the Pembroke belonged to the group that produced the Keeshond, Pomeranian, and Samoyed. The corgi gained exposure from its association with the royal family of Britain; Queen Elizabeth II has had corgis since her childhood.
