WINCHESTER 1300 Turkey Pump Shotgun Review As an avid hunter and shooting enthusiast, I've had the opportunity to use the Winchester 1300 Turkey pump shotgun in various field conditions. This shotgun, chambered in 12x70 with a barrel length of 570 mm, has become a staple in my hunting gear. Here’s my honest assessment, highlighting both the pros and cons. Pros: Accuracy and Precision: One of the standout features of the Winchester 1300 Turkey is its remarkably tight and sharp shot patterns. Whether you are aiming at turkeys or other upland game, this shotgun consistently delivers a concentrated stream of shot, significantly improving your chances of a successful hit. Interchangeable Chokes Winchester 1300: The inclusion of interchangeable chokes is a game-changer for versatility. Depending on the hunting scenario, I can easily switch between different chokes to adjust the spread of shot. This adaptability allows me to tackle various distances and types of game effectively. Hunting in Morocco: A Commitment to Conservation In Morocco, hunting is not just a sport—it’s a key part of wildlife conservation. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, hunting in the Beni Mellal region is carefully regulated to ensure the protection of biodiversity and the sustainable management of natural resources. By enforcing strict guidelines, issuing hunting permits, and designating specific areas for regulated hunting, Morocco aims to maintain ecological balance while supporting local communities. Ethical hunting practices contribute to preserving the country’s rich fauna, preventing overpopulation of certain species, and funding conservation efforts. With responsible oversight, hunting remains an important tool for protecting Morocco’s natural heritage.Post: 18 May 17:36

How to Stalk a Pronghorn Antelope The heat of the merciless sun pounded the back of my neck as I glassed through the small gap of the lone cedar bush I was crouched behind. His handsomely colored face and long curved black horns seemed to fill the viewfinder as I studied every inch of him. He was a dandy goat, and there was nothing more I wanted to do at that moment than wrap my hands around his black, 16-inch horns. This ground-crawling, torturous stalk began some two hours ago, and needless to say my body ached from the countless gouges, pokes and prods from the seemingly endless supply of needle-sharp plants that inhabit this semi-arid landscape. Although I had whittled the mile down to a mere 110 yards, I could go no farther. It wasn’t because of my lack of sheer will, there was just no cover between me and my bedded prize. I could easily have reached out and touched him with the help of modern ballistics, but I receive no satisfaction from that fact. I wanted to get archery-closePost: 12 July 10:48
Flinders Ranges Hunting Calendar: When the Ancient Landscape Calls - Goats, Deer and Mountain Game Pursuits Hunting Regulations & Seasonal Framework in the Flinders Ranges The Flinders Ranges operate under South Australia's National Parks and Wildlife Act with year-round hunting permitted for feral goats, pigs, foxes and rabbits on private properties and designated crown lands. Deer (primarily fallow) have an established season from March to October, while kangaroo harvesting requires commercial tags. The semi-arid climate with extreme temperature variations (summer highs of 45°C, winter lows of -5°C) creates distinct hunting windows - most activity occurs April-September. Unlike the nearby Murray Mallee region, the Flinders Ranges maintain special restrictions in gorges and water catchments due to fragile ecosystems. Recent reforms include mandatory GPS coordinates for all harvested feral goats (2023) and complete bans on lead ammunition within 5km of permanent water sources. The 20Post: 21 August 19:29

Tips for beginners. What caliber should I start with? Many experts recommend starting with the twelfth, because it releases a lot of fractions to hit a moving target, but does not spoil the trophy qualities of the prey. Over time, it is recommended to reduce the caliber. In a couple of years, replace your weapon with a lighter one. This will save a lot of money on consumables (gunpowder, shot). Remember that the right barrel, as a rule, is "pay", that is, it scatters the fraction over the area, and the left "choke" gives a more hefty shot. That is, from a close distance it is necessary to press the trigger that is closer to the butt.Post: 26 June 22:34
By Aaron Webber The three muskox bulls were getting anxious and it appeared that they were about to run again. I had chased this particular bull several times from a larger herd, but after several failed attempts to get a clear shot, it had finally broken off from the herd with two other, smaller bulls. I jumped off my snowmachine and got ready with my 7 mm Mag. The largest bull had moved away from the other two and presented a broadside shot. I instinctively stood, aimed, and fired at the bull. The bull took off running. I reloaded and followed up with a second shot which knocked the bull to the ground. I had finally bagged my bull! I started shaking severely. Whether it was delayed buck fever, or the fact that it was freezing cold, or perhaps a combination of both, I don’t know. I calmed myself enough to climb back on my snowmachine and drove over to the downed bull. The rest of the group arrived just before I did. My dad met me at my machine and gave me a big hug. Deep Water Haunts Bass fishing this time of year often corresponds with deep water. In much of the country, bass move offshore and school up to chase open-water baitfish. Offshore structure and cover like river ledges, deep weed beds, rock piles, wing-dams, and deep boat docks can all be dissected with a drop-shot. It particularly excels as a clean-up hitter. Once you catch a few fish from an offshore hot-spot using traditional cranking and worm techniques, pitch a drop-shot in and see what bites. It will often surprise you. The key to this style of fishing is to get the boat near, or over your target. From there, let the bait down until it makes contact with the bottom, and begin a series of light shakes of the worm. You want the bait to move, but not the sinker. This sounds touchy, but it’s easy to get the hang of it. Most experienced drop-shot fishermen call this “shaking slack.” After a little practice, you’ll get the feel of allowing your bait to flutter and sink on a slack line,Post: 12 September 18:47
