Honest Review of the Sabatti Rover 870 in .308 Win with a 560mm Barrel As an avid hunter, I’ve had the opportunity to test the Sabatti Rover 870 in .308 Win with a 560mm barrel, paired with the Pulsar Digisight Ultra N455 LRF scope. Here’s my detailed take on this setup, including its strengths and weaknesses. Pros: Accuracy (Sub-MOA Performance): The Sabatti Rover 870 is a true performer when it comes to accuracy. With the .308 Win caliber and a 560mm barrel, I consistently achieved sub-MOA groups at 100 meters. This level of precision is exceptional for a hunting rifle, especially when paired with quality ammunition. Build Quality: The rifle is solidly built, with a robust action and a well-finished stock. The ergonomics are comfortable, and the weight distribution makes it easy to handle, even during extended hunting sessions. Versatility: The .308 Win caliber is a proven choice for medium to large game, and the Sabatti Rover 870 handles it beautifully. Whether I was h

Pulsar Digex C50 Night Vision Scope with Digex X940S IR Illuminator Review I recently had the opportunity to try out the Pulsar Digex C50 night vision scope along with the Digex X940S IR illuminator, and I have to say, I am genuinely impressed with the performance of this setup. From the first time I set it up, the Digex C50 felt solid and well-built. The image quality is outstanding, even in low-light conditions. The clarity and detail are remarkable for a digital night vision device. It's easy to distinguish between different objects and even pick up movement at considerable distances, which is essential for my nocturnal hunting needs. The built-in features, such as video recording and streaming capability, are a big plus. Being able to capture my experiences and share them with friends or analyze for later is something I didn’t know I needed until I tried it. The Wi-Fi connectivity is user-friendly and provides a seamless interface with my smartphone. Pairing the C50 with the D

2100 kilometers in three days, a couple late nights and busy talking to people and giving presentations at the Parkland Outdoor Show & Expo could wear a person out but the energy at this show kept us so energized. It was really humbling talking to people there that said they'd driven all the way from Manitoba or distant locations in Saskatchewan just to meet us. The only downside to to the show was that virtually everyone that we chatted with had a picture of a bigger deer on their phone than TJ has ever taken ;) It was pretty cool spending time with several of the top TV show hosts and outdoor personalities in Canada. We work in a pretty amazing industry with a bunch of amazing people. Sharing the stage with them at the Royal Rumble was pretty entertaining. Thanks to LIVE 2 HUNT with Cody and Kelsy for emceeing this question and answer session, even though he was afraid to have a push up competition. ;) And thanks to all the people that we shared a stage with. Wines to Pair with Fowl Turkey, goose, pheasant? A free-range chicken, or even a capon? The time of the season seems to indicate fowl. We kind of like the idea, since it is out of the ordinary to roast a big bird for a festive feast, the kind of bird that can feed a dozen. With that comes wine challenges, though to say “challenge” is stretching the truth. That truth is almost any wine can match nicely with a big bird roast, plenty of vegetables, maybe a grilled romaine salad with parmesan and homemade croutons. Some choices: Evolve Cellars pinot blanc ($15), almost Alsatian in style with its crispness, but it is distinctively Okanagan as well, with its viscosity and herbal notes, surrounded by delightful stone fruit elements. A sensationally good sparkling wine, the Cipes Blanc de Franc ($45) from Summerhill Pyramid Winery, is a sparkling cabernet franc, which will turn heads, and have people coming back for more, so you may need to have two bottles. It is a delightful, fruit-driven wi

Yuri Gagarin hunting, 1966. Yuri Gagarin, the first human to journey into outer space, found solace and excitement in hunting during his time on Earth. Despite his groundbreaking achievements in space exploration, Gagarin cherished the simplicity and challenge of tracking game through Russia's vast wilderness. Hunting offered Gagarin a chance to reconnect with nature and escape the pressures of his high-profile career. He particularly enjoyed bird hunting, often venturing out with friends and fellow cosmonauts to the serene landscapes surrounding his home. With his trusty shotgun in hand, Gagarin approached each hunt with the same focus and precision that defined his historic space missions. Colleagues noted his enthusiasm for the sport, describing how he would meticulously prepare for each outing, studying animal behavior and planning his strategy. Hunting provided Gagarin not only with physical relaxation but also mental clarity, allowing him to reflect and recharge away from the

Second, your weapon will determine your season, which also determines your experience. It is nearly universal, for example, that archery season for big game happens in September because it coincides with the elk rut (mating season). Hunting during the elk rut is a uniquely powerful experience. During this time, bull elk vie for the attention of cows, piercing the mountain air with their signature bugles, grunts, chuckles, and screams. The ability to hear the animals and understand their intent, and engage in vocal communication with a 600-pound king of the forest, is one of the most intense, thrilling, and addictive elements of archery hunting. Elk language is nuanced and laden with information. As a bowhunter your goal is to paint a picture in the animal’s mind with the timing, location, tone, and intensity of your vocalization. In one situation you might imitate a cow elk looking for love, while in another you might communicate to a bull that you’re a bigger bull ready to rumble. (If

A new app aims to help save critically endangered sea turtles Artificial intelligence can spot illicit tortoiseshell with greater ease—a new frontier in the fight against the the illegal wildlife trade. With its durability and transfixing swirl of translucent amber and brown layers, tortoiseshell has been used for centuries to make everything from jewelry to combs to dishware. “It was plastic before plastic was invented because it’s so malleable,” says Brad Nahill, co-founder and president of turtle conservation group SEE Turtles and a National Geographic Explorer. Named SEE Shell, the app uses machine learning to identify with 94 percent accuracy whether a photo of something with a tortoiseshell pattern is real or faux. It’s the first mobile app to use computer vision to combat the illegal wildlife trade, according to Alexander Robillard, a predoctoral fellow with the Smithsonian’s Data Science Lab who built the computer model that powers it, and it will help inform conservation-m

Puškohled Bushnell NITRO 1-6x24 i+ Řadu NITRO nabízí Bushnell v kategorii střední třídy.
