Eva Shockey — female hunter, blogger, and opinion leader in the world of ethical hunting Eva Shockey Brent is one of the most influential women in the hunting world. She became the first woman in 30 years to appear on the cover of the legendary Field & Stream magazine (before her, only Queen Elizabeth II had been honored with this distinction). A Canadian by birth, Eva accompanied her father, TV presenter and professional hunter Jim Shockey, on expeditions around the world from a young age. She later joined him as co-host of the popular hunting TV show Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures. Outdoor lifestyle and a woman's perspective on hunting The content Eva creates is an inspiring combination of wildlife, family values, and personal philosophy. She shares her hunting trips, everyday life on the farm, game recipes, and stories about life with her husband and two children. Her blog is not just about hunting. It is about a lifestyle that values self-sufficiency, respect for nature, and the beauty of everyday outdoor life. Ethical hunting and the field-to-table philosophy Eva Shockey promotes the concept of ethical hunting — a responsible and conscious approach to hunting. In her articles, hunting is not reduced to trophies. It is a deep connection with nature, respect for the animal world, and sustainable consumption practices. She popularizes field-to-table cooking, preparing dishes from her own catch. Her recipes feature venison, duck, and turkey — all hunted with precision and honor. Women in hunting: a new reality Eva has become a symbol of change in the world of hunting, traditionally considered a male domain. She breaks stereotypes, proving that a female hunter is a force of strength, precision, knowledge, and confidence. Thousands of girls are inspired by her example and are starting their journey in hunting — with a bow, crossbow, or rifle. Personal brand, blog, and entrepreneurship Eva is the author of the inspiring book Taking Aim, founder of the Eva & Co brand, and participant in national campaigns for giants such as Cabela's, Under Armour, and Bowtech. Her projects combine hunting, fashion, and outdoor lifestyle into a single direction capable of competing with the big content industry. Why Eva Shockey is more than just a blogger Eva Shockey Brent is an opinion leader in the fields of hunting, sustainable living, and female influence in traditionally male-dominated industries. Her story is a journey in which hunting becomes part of culture, women become leaders, and nature becomes an ever-present teacher. photo from instagram (562k followers): @evashockey

JÄGER JÄGER is one of the most famous hunting magazines in Germany. Not the entire hunting community, but especially the district owners and hunting tenants are addressed. This group are the active, seasoned hunters who have been hunting in their own territories for many years. All contributions are written by experienced hunters in the editorial office or by competent freelance authors. The main focus of the content is on current hunting policy topics, news and reports on hunting, hunting area practice, hunting abroad. In addition, there are dog science and wildlife biology, weapons, ammunition and hunting optics, but also entertainment and reader service. https://www.jaegermagazin.de/ #Germany #JÄGER #magazines #hunting

WEIDWERK The WEIDWERK, Austria's largest hunting magazine and one of the top 5 in the German-speaking world, has been inspiring since 1928. With regular modernizations, it offers up-to-date information and entertainment. A young team provides a breath of fresh air and exciting content for its readers. WEIDWERK Editorial Team Ing. Martin Grasberger / Editor-in-Chief & Controlling Michaela Landbauer MA / Head of Service DI Edna Gober / Editor Simon Hausknost/ Key Account Manager Peter Kittenberger MSc./ Wildlife ecologist Barbara Marko BSc. / Social Media & Event Manager By Jakob Wallner / Art Director Despite the unfavorable conditions at that time, the fierce competition among hunting newspapers, the devaluation of money and the small circle of readers, a completely new hunting magazine, namely the first issue of "Österreichs Weidwerk", was published on 10.4.1928, which was subsequently to be published on the 1st and 15th of each month. It was the industrialist Dr. Fritz Habig who published this magazine, which was aimed at "all friends of homeland, hunting and nature" and already featured elaborate color prints in the first issues. Dr. Habig also managed to attract prominent authors to work for the newspaper, including Friedrich von Gagern, Dr. Karl Ausserer, A. O. Univ.-Prof. Ing. Karl Leeder, Prof. Dr. Günther Schlesinger, Colonel Oswald Irlweck, Konstantin Thun-Hohenstein, Prof. Dr. Eduard Paul Tratz, "Hegendorf" (Ludwig Merey by Kosmopere), Dr. Ing. Josef Singer, Ing. Franz Wojtech, Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Hoffer, Rudolf Abensperg and Traun ... This was certainly one of the reasons why more and more hunters switched to this hunting magazine. In the turmoil of the 2nd World War, the production of "Österreichs Weidwerk" was discontinued (1938), but it started again at the very beginning of 1946, when the occupying powers allowed the printing of hunting newspapers. Today, more than nine decades later, the WEIDWERK monthly brings in a modern presentation everything worth knowing about wildlife biology, hunting science, hunting practice, hunting weapons and optics, hunting dogs, hunting abroad, fish grazing, etc., plus interesting reports, breathtaking photo stories and all sorts of entertaining. Europe's best photographers ensure high-quality photographic material. This mixture has made the WEIDWERK well known far beyond the borders of Austria. The WEIDWERK is published with an average circulation of 46,500 pieces twelve times a year at the beginning of each month and offers the hunter everything they need to know to be up to date. Every month, it is a highly exciting task for the editorial staff to satisfy those readers who traditionally receive a full hunter's life for their grazing work by subscription, and those who consider hunting from today's ecological point of view equally. https://weidwerk.at/ #Austria #magazine #WEIDWERK #hunting #dogs #equipment #wildlife
