A new research by the University of Urbino, presented at the European Parliament on 30 September 2025, reveals that hunting, sports shooting, and related sectors contribute €180 billion annually to Europe’s economy—nearly 1% of GDP—and support over 1.12 million jobs across 30 countries, including all EU Member States, Norway, Switzerland, and the UK.

Hunters and sports shooters alone spend €96.3 billion per year (excluding firearms and ammunition), driving demand across manufacturing, rural services, tourism, and conservation. The firearms and ammunition industries also show strong export performance, with a combined trade surplus of over €1.75 billion. https://www.face.eu/2025/10/new-study-hunting-and-shooting-contribute-e180-billion-annually-to-europes-economy/ This data makes it clear that the hunting sector—and its powerful economic multiplier effect—is vastly underestimated. Despite its scale and deep socio-economic roots, the community and its businesses remain fragmented and underrepresented in the digital space. This gap defines a large and underserved addressable market: millions of hunters, thousands of SMEs, and a complex, cross-border supply chain in need of modern digital infrastructure. Enter UH.APP (United Hunters Application)—a game-changing product designed to unite the global hunting community on a single international platform. By offering integrated tools for networking, commerce, education, and advocacy, UH.APP has the potential to become the central digital layer for this hundreds billion industry and fundamentally reshape how it operates, connects, and grows.
