Set #2 of the FLYING pika! (Please view each image large for details) One of my absolute favorite and most challenging subjects to photograph........the mighty American Pika. These tiny critters the size of a guinea pig, are the speediest and hardest working animals in the alpine zone of the mountains. They are Lagomorphs and closely related to rabbits. They spend most of their days gathering tundra grasses and wildflowers to store in their winter food stashes to be able to survive the cold harsh mountain winters. I spend numerous days and hours each summer up high in the Rocky mountains of Colorado, observing and trying to photograph these little speedsters. Here is the second set of photos. All images captured with a Nikon Z8 and Nikkor 800mm F6.3 lens, some with a 1.4x teleconverter for focal length of 1120mm. František Ferdinand d´Este jako vášnivý lovec Zámek Konopiště založil nedaleko svého rodového sídla Benešova kolem r. 1294 pravděpodobně pražský biskup Tobiáš z Benešova a to podle vzoru francouzských pevností, s válcovými věžemi, s parkánem, 4 bránami a padacím mostem Současnou podobu však zámek dostal až na přelomu 19. a 20. století, kdy zámek i s celým panstvím od Lobkoviců koupil František Ferdinand d´Este, od r. 1896 následník císařského trůnu, který byl vášnivý lovec. V rámci prohlídky, proto můžete vidět, mimo jiné sbírku jeho zbraní, loveckých trofejí i jeho soukromé pokoje. František Ferdinand d´Este ulovil za svůj život téměř 300 000 (uvádí se 274 889) kusů zvěře. Na zámku je asi 1,5 % těchto trofejí, tj. 4055 trofejí - z toho v lovecké chodbě na 1. prohlídkové trase je umístěno 860 trofejí a ve vitrině 3500 jeleních zubů – kelců; v parůžkovém salonu na 3. okruhu je 1122 srnčích parůžků a v přilehlé věžičce je umístěno 154 kamzičích růžků, dále na jedné z chodeb ve 3. pa

Zámek Hluboká nad Vltavou Hluboká je dnes významnou loveckou památkou. Zámek však nikdy loveckým hradem ani zámkem nebyl. Již v dobách 1. světové války a druhé polovině 19. století sloužil jako základna pro pořádání tzv. hlubocké honební sezóny, která zde byla pořádána každoročně pro vybranou společnost Schwarzenbergů. Samotné hony trvaly 14 dnů a po roce 1907 pouze 6 dnů. Lovila se okolní zvěř drobná. Ve Staré oboře se pořádaly naháňky na zvěř černou, daňky a muflony. Do roku 1913 se zde pořádaly také parforsní hony. Samotný výřad ulovené zvěře spárkaté se konal na nádvoří hlubockého zámku. Historie: Zámek Hluboká byl původně založen jako strážný hrad v polovině 13. století českými králi a jako královsky majetek byl dáván často do zástavy. V držení se zde vystřídalo několik šlechtických rodů. Mezi významné patřili např. Pernštejnové, kteří založili v roce 1940 nedaleký rybník Bezdrev, rozlohou druhý největší v Čechách. Вчера после долгого перерыва посетили Нарочь. И не прогадали. Вода остыла, эхолот показывал 12.5 градусов, и щука начала активно кушать. За день поимели как минимум десятка два поклёвок на разные приманки. Пацаны большую часть времени ловили на более мелкие приманки, размером около 5 дюймов. У них поклёвок было больше, но и размер рыбы соответствующий, 1-1.5 кило щупачки. Я же упирался в более крупные приманки. Удалось соблазнить одну упитанную 80-ку, и ещё поиметь один сход хорошей рыбы. Не считая ещё 5-6 холостых поклёвок. Сработала классика: большой Пумба в 206-м цвете.🔥👍 Основная часть поклёвок на банках с травой и на свалах с них на глубинах 5-8 метров. Там же и держалась бо́льшая часть кормовой рыбы.
