The materials used feel durable and well-constructed, providing a sense of reliability that is essential for any serious shooter. The shotgun features Benelli's renowned inertia-driven system, which contributes to smooth cycling and minimal recoil – a significant advantage for both novice and seasoned shooters alike. Hardware: Browning A5 Wicked Wing Sweet Sixteen A legendary early 20th century shotgun, the 16-gauge dropped off the map in 1989 when skeet shooting rules were finalized by the newly formed National Sporting Clays Association, and the gauge didn’t make the cut. As much as field shooters favored the shotgun’s lightweight, functional, easy-on-the-shoulder nature, skeet shooters press the trigger more than upland and waterfowl hunters combined, and ammo manufacturers couldn’t justify the cost of production. Browning A5 Wicked Wing Sweet Sixteen Semi Automatic Shotgun. Today, however, this near-perfect gauge is making a remarkable comeback. Why? Efficiency. Not only do 16-gauge loads hit with a wallop, especially with modern-day tungsten and bismuth, the guns are simply a joy to tote. Weighing less than most 12-gauge options and comparable to 20-gauge models, a quality 16-gauge makes a tremendous all-day field gun for any shooter. I’m a Browning fan, and my 12-gauge A5 has been my wa

Lynx hunting requires careful preparation If you intend to go lynx hunting, you should start tracking lynx movements immediately after the first snowfall. This way the hunters can find out the number of lynxes in the area and the structure of the population. A keen eye is needed in deciphering lynx tracks, as the lynx likes to take advantage of hard pathways formed on the snow during soft snow season. In lynx hunting one hunter acts as a beater chasing the animal towards the shooters, or you can use a dog. Dog breeds that like to go after foxes will usually also eagerly chase lynxes. Big game dogs with pointed ears are also well suited for lynx hunting. A shotgun loaded with 4 mm shot is a good weapon for the purpose. A snow suit allows a shooter to better blend in with the wintry landscape. The lynx has excellent hearing. One should always remember this during a hunt. The shooters must remain as quiet as possible as they lie in wait. The lynx picks up gun loading sounds, the creakin

The illumination is variable and this allows the shooter to increase the brightness of the reticle to suit the shooting conditions. Hawke Optics have several illuminated riflescopes with illumination control and options of red, green or blue to suit the shooters preference. Illuminated reticles are most useful at dawn or dusk, after this time it is better to illuminate the target with an external light source. View the entire collection of Hawke Reticles. After my weekend training in Moscow shooting club, I remembered an outstanding meeting. It took place last September at the ADIHEX 2024, Abu Dhabi hunting exhibition. On a photo one of the fastest shooters on the planet, Raniero Testa. He had already set several world records and continues to surprise with new ones. Only after trying yourself in some kind of sport or art, you can really understand how difficult it is. What kind of effort and dedication does it take to become the best in what you do. I have great respect for all real professionals regardless of the type of activity. Raniero Testa (Italy) holds the record by throwing 17 sports clay targets with his hands and smashing them with 17 shots. And that's not all: the clay targets were hit in a record time of 2.08 seconds.
