Браконьер вывозил уловы на тракторе Инспекторским составом отдела рыбоохраны в Пошехонском районе Ярославской области задержан браконьер, который промышлял лесковыми сетями около Бабинских островов Рыбинского водохранилища. Охота открывается с понедельника, 11 апреля. Хищников можно будет добывать везде, кроме охраняемых территорий федерального и регионального значения. Также запрещено охотиться на медведей в возрасте до одного года, а также медведиц, имеющих медвежат. В прошлом году постановлением правительства края были утверждены лимиты на добычу 3067 медведей. Это 12,5% от общей численности популяции, численность которой оценивается в 24,5 тысячи особей. Как сообщало ИА «Кам 24», охотники каждый год не выбирают квоты, на Камчатке в ходе легальной охоты отстреливают около 400-600 медведей. В связи с этим в этом году весенний период охоты продлили до середины июня.
