Adamawa, one of the largest regions of Cameroon, stretches across a vast plateau ranging between 1,000 and 1,500 meters above sea level. Its terrain is shaped by rolling savannahs, gallery forests, and scattered lakes. The climate is Sudanian tropical, with a long dry season and a distinct wet period, which influences wildlife migration and hunting patterns. The presence of the Mbéré Valley and the Benoué Basin makes Adamawa a crucial ecological corridor between the forest zones of the south and the arid savannahs of the north — a natural crossroads for big game.

‘Field and Stream’ has been the preeminent American outdoors publication for over a century with a current monthly circulation exceeding 1,000,000. It was the outgrowth of a periodical entitled ‘Northwestern Field and Stream’ which was first published in St Paul Minnesota in 1895. A year later, John P Burkhard acquired this publication, renamed it, and dubbed it “A Journal for the True Sportsman”. As his first editor, Burkhard hired Charles Hallock, stealing him away from ‘Forest and Stream’, the leading outdoor magazine of the time which had been published regularly since 1873 but was eventually absorbed in 1930 by the increasingly popular ‘Field and Stream’.
Hunting, fishing and camping were, and continue to be, the strongest focuses of the magazine. There have been more than 150 covers depicting the various forms of fishing, and many are specifically about fly fishing.

Known for cheese, farm fields, big hardwood timber, and the Green Bay Packers, the Badger State is also among the states with the most deer, at least according to Kip Adams, a wildlife biologist and chief conservation officer of the National Deer Association.
While Wisconsin doesn’t estimate its deer herd numbers, Jeffrey Pritzl, a wildlife biologist with the Wisconsin DNR, provided some insight. “We don’t generate a statewide deer population,” he said, “because it’s a really big number that doesn’t translate well to the individual hunting experience due to widely varied deer densities. However, it’s safe to say that there are well over a million deer, especially pre-deer season. In our online Deer Metrics System, we provide a graph of the statewide post-hunting season population. Some areas may have 10 deer per square mile, and others have more than 100. Our highest densities are in east-central farmlands.”

Le Dolomiti, patrimonio UNESCO, si estendono tra Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige e Friuli-Venezia Giulia, con vette iconiche come le Tre Cime di Lavaredo (3.152 m) e il Catinaccio . Caccia al Camoscio : Praticata in alta montagna (1.500–3.000 m), richiede esperienza per i terreni impervi.
Caccia allo Stambecco : Riservata a zone rocciose come il Parco Naturale Adamello-Brenta (permessi limitati).
Caccia al Cervo Rosso : Focalizzata nelle valli boschive durante il bramito (settembre-ottobre).
Caccia agli Uccelli : Pernici bianche e galli cedroni cacciati con appostamenti discreti.

Camoscio e Stambecco : 15 settembre – 15 dicembre (max 1 capo/anno, con autorizzazione speciale).
Cervo Rosso : 15 settembre – 31 ottobre (solo maschi adulti).
Pernici Bianche : 1 ottobre – 30 novembre (max 3 esemplari/giorno).
Selvaggina Minuta : 15 settembre – 30 novembre.

Nel 2021, un cacciatore ha immortalato un gipeto barbuto (specie rara) nel Parco Naturale Adamello-Brenta.
