Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is looking for any leads in a recent poaching incident that occurred in Park County, Colorado around June 26. A large bull elk carcass was left to waste with the majority of the meat still there, according to Channel 9 News. CPW believes the elk was illegally shot between June 24 and 26 in the area between Como and Hartsel, west of Colorado Springs. The carcass was dumped along Pike National Forest Road 146. A high-power rifle was used and only the backstraps and one antler was removed. The rest of the carcass was left to rot. Day 2 of 5. Oklahoma. I packed up camp on the lake and headed to the river. The water was all the way up to 52 degrees after being in the low 30s the week before! I setup

Day 2 of 5. Oklahoma. I packed up camp on the lake and headed to the river. The water was all the way up to 52 degrees after being in the low 30s the week before! I setup on a deep hole (20ft. deep) with a big inside eddy. I caught a 3 pound dinner cat within 2 minutes of setting up, then another small fish 2 minutes after that, then this surprise January Flathead about 5 minutes later! 3 fish within the first 15 minutes was a great start then it died down. After a couple hours and some missed bites I put 2 rods on the downstream side of the hole in about 6 feet of water and shortly after I got a good blue! I had fried catfish for dinner and slept like a baby with no bites the rest of the night. I love camping on the river and not just observing wildlife but being apart of it. From Coyotes howling to wild pigs squealing to big blue cats biting the crap out of me I love it!

Geschichte der Glattrohrwaffen Den meisten Historikern zufolge wurde Schießpulver im 11. Jahrhundert in China erfunden. Mit der Zeit gelangte das Wissen über seine Herstellung auch nach Europa. Die allerersten Handfeuerwaffen erschienen im 14. Jahrhundert und verfügten über eine Luntenschlosszündung und Vorderladerkonstruktion. Im 15. Jahrhundert waren Arkebusen zu einer gängigen Waffe in den europäischen Armeen geworden. Im 16. Jahrhundert erschienen in Spanien die ersten Steinschlossgewehre. Dieser neue Mechanismus machte das Schießen einfacher und den Zündzeitpunkt vorhersehbarer als das frühere Luntenschlosssystem.
