Review of the Antonio Zoli 1900 Pro Bolt Action Rifle, Caliber .300 Win Mag As an avid hunter with years of experience under my belt, I’ve had the opportunity to put a variety of rifles to the test. Recently, I acquired the Antonio Zoli 1900 Pro in .300 Win Mag, and I want to share my thoughts on this Italian bolt-action rifle. Pros: Build Quality: The first thing that strikes you about the Zoli 1900 Pro is the craftsmanship. The stock is made from high-quality walnut, providing not only aesthetic appeal but also a solid grip. The checkering is finely done, allowing for a secure hold even in wet conditions. By Frank Gentile, Hopewell, N.Y. It was October 2011, and I was back in my Chevy Tahoe on my way to another hunt. This time, instead of my son, I was traveling with my hunting buddies. My buddies and I had been on plenty of trips together before but never to Texas! Between the four of us and gear for six (two of our team opted to fly from New York to San Antonio), every single spare inch of space in the truck had been utilized. With each of us taking turns driving, we made it to Texas in about 20 hours. We got dinner and hotel rooms in Texarkana, and were back on the road early the next morning. With a day to spare before we were due at our hunting camp in Hondo, Texas, we headed south with plans to enjoy the city of San Antonio along the way. In San Antonio, we explored the Alamo, the River Walk and the Buckhorn Saloon and Texas Ranger Museum. What a great city! Our first order of business after arriving at the camp the next morning was to make sure that our rifles were on target.

Benelli Shotguns: A Legacy of Innovation for the Modern Hunter For generations, the name Benelli has been synonymous with speed, reliability, and cutting-edge design in the world of shotguns. If you're serious about hunting, you've likely considered or even own a Benelli. But how did this Italian company become a global leader, trusted by hunters in diverse environments? Let's dive into the story. The Birth of a Legend: From Motorcycles to Shotguns The Benelli story begins, surprisingly, not with firearms, but with motorcycles. In 1911, the Benelli brothers – six in total: Giuseppe, Giovanni, Francesco, Filippo, Domenico and Antonio – opened a garage in Pesaro, Italy, repairing and manufacturing motorcycle parts. After World War I, they built their first complete motorcycle in 1921. Benelli motorcycles quickly gained a reputation for performance and innovation, achieving racing success throughout the 1920s and 30s. However, in 1967, the Benelli Group, seeking diversification, turne

Any youth (age 17 and younger) who has completed an online hunter education class will be able to hunt on their own tag, even if they haven’t completed the required in-person field day. With fewer hunter education classes/field days offered this year due to COVID-19, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will defer the field day requirement for youth hunters for the 2021 hunting season. The field day will still be required to get a hunter education certificate, but can be delayed until after hunting season. “This will provide additional time for any young hunter to get their hunter education certification,” said Antonio Salgado, ODFW Recruitment/Retention/Reactivation Coordinator. “They will still have to complete a field day to be fully certified. Since fewer and smaller hunter ed conventional classes and field days have been offered due to COVID, we didn’t want anyone to miss the chance to hunt this

Существовало две формы: степной тарпан (лат. Е. gmelini gmelini Antonius, 1912) и лесной тарпан (лат. Е. gmelini silvaticus Vetulani, 1927—1928)[3]. Hunting Frontiers of KASSERINE: Demographics and Hunting Culture in the Region, Laws and Legislation of Tunisia Ecological Layout and Landscape Character in Kasserine Region Kasserine, located in western Tunisia along the Algerian border, is marked by rugged mountain ranges, expansive high plateaus, and dense pine forests that contrast sharply with the flatlands of central Tunisia. The region is anchored by the Chaambi Mountain—Tunisia’s highest peak—and surrounded by woodland habitats, steep slopes, and semi-arid plains. The temperate continental climate, with cold winters and dry, hot summers, also affects animal behavior, driving game to lower elevations and shaded ravines during key hunting months. Hunting Demographics and Regional Involvement in the Area Kasserine has a longstanding hunting culture, deeply rooted in rural and mountainous communities such as Sbeitla, Fériana, and Thala. Hunting in Brazil: What are the options? Abstract In Brazil most forms of hunting and keeping of wild animals are illegal, although they remain widely practiced and are deeply culturally embedded in many regions. The drivers of such widespread non-compliance are poorly understood and evidence to support future policy decisions is generally lacking. In this paper, we seek to stimulate a critical debate on how to deal with hunting in Brazil by analysing the main factors driving non-compliance with current legislation. This is particularly timely given that several amendments to existing legislation are currently under consideration. Our analysis suggests that, while there are no simple solutions to non-compliance, a targeted suite of the following policy options could improve the monitoring, sustainability and conservation consequences of hunting in Brazil: (i) simplifying the process to become a registered subsistence hunter; (ii) expanding participation in licensing schemes; (iii) inv

How Does Benelli’s Inertia-Driven System Work? A Hunter’s Deep Dive into Legendary Reliability If you’ve ever shouldered a Benelli shotgun in the field, you’ve likely felt the difference. It’s not just the balance or the Italian craftsmanship - it’s the Inertia-Driven® system, the heart of Benelli’s semi-automatic legacy. As a lifelong hunter and firearms enthusiast, I’ve trusted this system in rain, snow, dust, and heat. Let me break down how it works, why it matters, and what makes it stand apart from gas-operated shotguns. ⚙️ The Core Principle: Recoil, Not Gas Unlike gas-operated shotguns that siphon off combustion gases to cycle the action, Benelli’s Inertia-Driven system uses pure recoil energy. When you fire a shell, the entire shotgun moves backward—except for the bolt body, which momentarily resists due to inertia. This delay compresses a spring between the bolt head and bolt body. Once the spring reaches full compression, it expands, driving the bolt rearward to eject the

Missouri to Allow Drone Use During Hunting Season Allowing drones to be used in recover is becoming more common across the United States. All use of drones in hunting seasons has been banned in Missouri until now. The Missouri Department of Conservation released several rule changes ahead of the 2024 season. These changes include the approval of drones used specifically in recovering wounded deer, turkey, elk, and black bear. All other uses of drones to aid in the hunt are still prohibited. Pursuing, taking, driving, or harassing wildlife is still not legal. These changes reflect a growing shift toward utilizing technology to prevent the loss of animals. Drone operators must obtain permission before flying over private land in Missouri. They are also restricted from possessing a weapon during flight. There are specific regulations and rules that are required by the state of Missouri to operate a drone, even if only for recreational use. The FAA requires all drone operators to take Th

Searching the right haystacks is the best way to find needles. Pursuers of whitetails, this continent’s favorite and most widespread big game animal, take to the woods each fall for a variety of reasons. Many deer hunters simply enjoy communing with nature. Some are more driven to collect venison for the freezer. For others, the quest is all about antlers, and the bigger the better. Size really does matter to the 10 million-plus hunters smitten with white-tailed deer, whether it’s the driving force behind their passion or simply a bonus. Success depends on luck, skill and, most important, location. For the second time since Buckmasters launched its own Full-Credit (antler) Scoring System back in 1993, the nation’s largest deer hunting organization has tapped into its massive database to show exactly where hunters are felling this country’s best white-tailed bucks. By examining hundreds of recent entries into “Buckmasters Whitetail Trophy Records,” we’ve put together a Top 10 list s

Spanish style Sometimes trophy hunters want to unwind on a hunt - without overcoming, overexertion and overload. We recommend you the most exciting hunt for 🐔partridge in Spain. 👏 Everyone will be able to shoot a lot and qualitatively, have fun with friends, relax - thereby getting an emotional charge for a long time! Traditionally in 🇪🇸 Spain, a hunt is carried out by driving. The beaters flush the partridges at some distance from the hunters and direct them to the line of shooters. Every day, 4-5 drives are organized with a break for lunch. On average, it is possible to get 500-800 birds per day. ℹ️ During the day, the hunters change places in the order determined by the drawing. Thus, everyone has the opportunity to try their hand both in the center of the line and on its edges. The hunter is joined at the position by assistants: a "cargador" who reloads the weapon, and a "secretario" who adjusts the direction of the shot and keeps count of the birds killed. There are still
