Boar hunting is quite exciting. Since ancient times, there has been great interest in it. In this article we will talk about one of the types of hunting for a wild boar. The main type is considered to be classical hunting. Conducted from the living room. There are two variants of this type of hunting - in the fields for food and on boar crossings. The first option means that you need to find boar feeding points within a set period of time, which does not mean that they are in demand throughout the territory. The wild boar is often omnivorous, for example, it can eat both potatoes and oat fields. In autumn, after the harvest, wild boars can feed in abandoned apple orchards. The best option is hunting in oat fields. To do this, they look for wet lowlands with dense shrubs, as well as swamps. In some cases, if the oat field is in these areas, then the appearance of the wild boar is most likely there. The field is explored in the morning, because by the evening the smell remains there, anPost: 28 July 18:38

10 Classic Hunting Rifles Every Hunter Should Own (Part 3) 8. Remington Model 760 Gamemaster The 760 is a box magazine-fed pump-action with similar looks to Remington’s 870 and 1100 shotgun lines. It began production somewhere around 1952, and naturally became a very popular deer woods rifle. Not a style of rifle that’s commonly associated with Alaska or western-style hunting, the Model 760 is a quick-pointing, quick-shooting bush rifle. It’s great for hunting in thick timber where shot distances are limited, but shots might be fleeting. Model 760 Gamemaster in .30/06 would be a great for bear hunting over bait. 9. Browning BAR Designed by Bruce Browning, grandson of John M. Browning, the sporting BAR is a semi-automatic hunting rifle that was introduced in 1968 and first produced in Belgium. It’s box magazine fed and features a hinged trap-door floorplate that’s opened to insert the magazine. Klasične različice gladkih pušk so seveda dvocevke. V svoji izvedbi so vodoravni (dvojni) in navpični. Post: 31 July 16:25

Goose Hunting in Belarus 2025: Full Guide to Seasons, Methods, Permits, and Prices Belarus offers one of Eastern Europe’s most underrated goose hunting experiences. With vast wetlands, agricultural fields, and migratory flyways, the country attracts thousands of geese each season. The primary species hunted are Greylag Geese, White-fronted Geese, and Bean Geese — all wary, intelligent birds that demand skill and preparation. This guide covers everything serious hunters need to know: migration timing, hunting methods, legal requirements, best regions, and costs. --- Goose Species in Belarus • Greylag Goose (Anser anser): Largest and most common; highly vocal and cautious. • White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons): Smaller, fast flyers; often mixed in flocks. • Bean Goose (Anser fabalis): Less predictable; prefers remote wetlands. These species migrate through Belarus in large numbers, offering excellent opportunities for both field and water hunts. --- Migration Timing and Hunting Post: 9 March 14:40
The SPAS-12 was designed to function primarily in semi-automatic mode, with the pump-action mode used to reliably fire low-pressure ammunition such as tear gas rounds or less-lethal bean bags. The firing mode is switched by depressing the button under the fore-grip and also sliding it forwards or backwards until it clicks into position allowing the rotating sleeve to open or close the two gas ports. The semi-automatic mode functions with a short-stroke gas piston system. When a shell is fired, the pressure makes the bolt move rearward but the bolt will stop before opening as it deploys a single top locking lug. The gas vents into the barrel and the gas port is located towards the end of the barrel. From the gas port, the gas vents downwards into the gas block where it pushes the piston rearward. Because of the presence of the magazine tube and to avoid the use of a top-mounted gas system, the gas block and the piston are annular, along with the piston spring they enclose the magazine Post: 7 July 15:41

Field Butchering Tips and Tactics Blog by Marcus Weiner Photos by Brian Woobank Butchering big game is a skill earned from experience and can be daunting to the new hunter. But it doesn’t need to be. Ungulates are constructed the same way, so learning how to break down a deer will give you the introductory skills needed to tackle larger animals like caribou, elk and moose. Here are some field butchering tips and tactics. There are two school of thought on butchering big game in the field – the gutless method or the gutting method. I prefer the gutless method of field butchering big game. Since most of the animals I take in Alaska require them to be packed out, then breaking them down into four quarters; two backstraps; two tenderloins; two sets of ribs, briskets, flank and skirt steaks; and neck meat are the usually butchering method. With that fact in mind, the only reason to gut the animal is if you don’t have the ability to break it down immediately. My goal with every animal is Post: 14 June 13:31
