В этом году охотники смогут добывать гусей и селезней уток, а с 15 марта откроется охота на самцов вальдшнепа «на тяге». Genans-Boiteux perd la trace de son jeune compagnon, nommé Usky, un Bruno du Jura de tout juste un an, encore en plein apprentissage. Myslivecká statistika 2023/2024 – opět padly nové rekordy Myslivecký rok 2023/2024 byl velmi bohatý na úlovky spárkaté zvěře – opět byly posunuty hranice rekordů. Nové historicky nejvyšší odstřely byly zaznamenány u zvěře jelení, daňčí, mufloní a černé. V mysliveckém roce 2023/2024 byl evidován nový rekordní odstřel jelení zvěře ve výši 35 779 kusů, meziročně došlo k nárůstu o 2895 kusů. Daňčí zvěře bylo uloveno 45 335 kusů, oproti předchozímu období o 17,3 % (6682 kusů) více, a šlo tak také o nejvyšší úlovek v historii. U mufloní zvěře došlo k nárůstu o 788 kusů na 11 033 kusů, což představovalo rovněž novou rekordní hodnotu. V rámci srnčí zvěře došlo k navýšení odstřelu o poměrně významných 9,5 % na 124 897 kusů. Odstřel černé zvěře (prase divoké) ve výši 258 253 kusů zaznamenal taktéž výrazný meziroční nárůst o 80 376 kusů (+45,2 %). Už méně je známo, že vzduchovky, přesněji větrovky, tedy vzduchovky na stlačený vzduch, byly používány i v myslivosti, dokonce ve vojenství. V minulosti byl lov výsadou šlechty a s tím souviselo i právo držení zbraní. Ve sbírkách šlechtických rodů byly zastoupeny i větrovky a existují záznamy, že se dokonce používaly k lovu jelení zvěře. Výkon tehdejší větrovky se pohyboval v rozpětí 100 až 200 Joule, což je výkon pistolového náboje 6,35 Browning, malorážového náboje .22 long rifle apod. 鹿児島県の喜界島で野生化し頭数が増加傾向にあるシカの駆除数が急増している。2023年度は9月26日時点で165頭と、17年度の駆除開始以降で最多だった22年度実績（76頭）を大幅に上回っている。喜界町農業振興課は「根絶を目指し、このペースで捕獲を進めたい」としている。 　町は18年度と21年度、シカのふん粒確認や自動撮影カメラによる生息実態調査を実施。推計頭数は18年度の115頭から21年度には303頭に増加した。主に百之台国立公園周辺など島中央部や小野津、志戸桶、佐手久など島北部の集落の林などに生息しているとみられ、サトウキビの新芽や牛の飼料などの食害が確認されているという。 　同町では猟友会の協力を得て17年度に本格的な駆除事業を開始。当初2人でスタートした狩猟従事者数は年々増加し、現在は16人。駆除実績は17年度20頭、18年度37頭、19年度40頭、20年度66頭、21年度70頭と推移している。 　事業開始からしばらく、捕獲報奨金は1頭当たり1万円に設定していたが、22年度下半期から1万5千円に増額。今年度からは年間捕獲数が10頭までは同額、11頭以降は2万円にするなど、この2年間で報奨金を引き上げた。 　駆除頭数の増加について同課は「狩猟従事者が増え、設置するわなの増加や捕獲成功率の上昇、報奨金の引き上げ効果などが要因ではないか」と分析。今年度は当初予算で150万円を計上していたが駆除数増加で予算超過となったため、補正予算で200万円を増額しており、「行政もできる限りバックアップして、駆除につなげたい」としている。
