Благодаря высокой плотности крови даже резкая смена положения головы жирафа не приводит к ухудшению состояния животного. Несмотря на внушительную длину, шея жирафа полностью отвечает стандартным характеристикам млекопитающего – у жирафа 7 шейных позвонков, каждый из которых достигает в длину 25 см. В результате незаконной добычи нарушитель наловил 250 экз. синца, леща, чехони и плотвы. Ущерб, причиненный водным биологическим ресурсам, согласно действующим таксам, составил 125 тысяч рублей. С места происшествия изъяты: рыба, запрещенные сети, лодка, мотор, лодочный прицеп и трактор. В Московско-Окском ТУ Росрыболовства справочно сообщили, что с начала года рыбоохраной по Ярославской и Вологодской (Череповецкий район) областям проведено 600 мероприятий, в ходе которых выявлено 529 административных правонарушений. Из них в следственные органы передано 33 материала с признаками состава уголовных преступлений. На сегодняшний день возбуждено 22 уголовных дела.
