A group of Spanish filmmakers did almost the same, reflecting one of these adventures while they themselves lived one, they left in 10 vehicles, three of which returned, and for three months they lived in tents and cars while they filmed. The film was somewhat successful, and was even the first Spanish film to be shown in China. But for whatever reason it fell into oblivion, no one digitized it, and like other things it faded into history. But its director recovered 25,000 meters of film, re-edited it and is now promoting it again. We have not seen it yet (we will on December 9), but the quality of the photography seems outstanding to us. Buck Holes Search for what I call buck holes, which are tangles of honeysuckle or wild rose on ridges, cedar or pine thickets, brushy beaver swamps … you get the idea. A buck hole doesn’t have to be large or even remote — just a thick spot other hunters overlook. A grassy ditch near a back road, an overgrown hog lot behind an old barn or a similar neglected spot can hide a big buck. Scour an aerial map for such pockets or strips of cover. Check the edges of a thicket or swamp for trails pocked with big tracks. Look for rubs and late scrapes, which are signs that a buck has moved back in there to evade hunters and breed a last willing doe. When you find a mother lode of fresh sign, stop right there. You don’t want to bust into a small security area, put more heat on already wired deer and bust them out of there. It’s better to back off 100 yards or so and set up on a ridge or point where you can cover buck entry and exit routes into and out of cover.

Suite à l’invitation de l’ADJC 79, pas moins de 22 jeunes chasseurs se sont réunis sur l’ACCA de Chenay (79) pour cette matinée de chasse anticipée à la caille des blés. La caille des blés étant une espèce migratrice, les individus sont de passage en cette période. Pourtant, nous sommes accueillis sur un superbe territoire, représentant un biotopes très propice à la présence de cette espèce. Trois cailles des blés ont pu être levés. Cependant, les températures élevées n’étaient pas favorables pour nos chiens malgré des quêtes très appliqués. Nos compagnons 🐶 auront tout de même pu prendre connaissances de plusieurs autres gibiers comme des lièvres et des perdreaux. Merci à l’ACCA de Chenay pour son accueil et pour le repas qu’ils nous ont servi. Nous remercions également l’ADJC 79 pour l’invitation de cette belle journée. ☀️

« Un chien perdu depuis 4 jours retrouvé à l’aide d’un drone à La Balme de Thuy » 😲 Alors qu’il participait à une partie de chasse samedi 19 octobre, M. Genans-Boiteux perd la trace de son jeune compagnon, nommé Usky, un Bruno du Jura de tout juste un an, encore en plein apprentissage. Après de longs jours de recherche, les chasseurs, désespérés, ont sollicité l’aide de la fédération. Certains agents sont formés et diplômés pour l’utilisation de drones équipés de caméra thermique. Mardi 22 octobre, Alexis Vautrin , technicien à la fédération s’est porté volontaire pour tenter de retrouver l’animal. Après 2 kilomètres de piste forestière en 4x4 puis 30 minutes d’efforts pour rejoindre la zone à pied, quelques secondes de survol suffirent pour qu’un point de chaleur soit détecté grâce à la caméra thermique de l’aéronef… C’était lui ! De 1923 à 1941, ces deux fédérations n’en étaient en effet qu’une seule. 🌲Au cours de cette manifestation, à laquelle sont associées de nombreuses associations partenaires des fédérations, des randonnées sont proposées par Dordogne-Périgord, le Département pour découvrir la boucle du Cluzeau. 🌲 De nombreuses animations seront proposées durant tout le week-end, comme des démonstrations de chasse au vol, de pêche à la mouche, etc. Pour les petits comme pour les grands. 🌲 Le Département de la Dordogne, qui met à disposition son domaine pour les festivités, est un partenaire étroit de ces deux fédérations avec l’appui desquelles il développe des actions en lien avec le tourisme, la faune et la flore sauvage, ainsi que les milieux aquatiques.

🏰 Le château de Cendrillon de Germany 🏰 Schloss Moritzburg Probablement le plus joli château amouvé de Saxe. C'est Auguste le Fort qui en 1743 achète le château existant à cet endroit et le convertit en un magnifique château baroque au milieu d'un grand étang et d'un parc. Une promenade autour du lac du château avec des avenues dorées d'arbres de couleur automnale est presque aussi belle qu'une visite à l'intérieur de ce château majestueux. Une pièce après l'autre se vante de tapisseries en cuir uniques et ornées et le château possède l'une des plus importantes collections de trophées de chasse dans @TAG. L'apogée de la poshness se trouve dans la soi-disant « salle des plumes » où plus d'un million de plumes colorées composent le lit à baldaquin et les décorations murales.
