Youth have more time to complete hunter education while still hunting this fall. Any youth (age 17 and younger) who has completed an online hunter education class will be able to hunt on their own tag, even if they haven’t completed the required in-person field day. With fewer hunter education classes/field days offered this year due to COVID-19, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will defer the field day requirement for youth hunters for the 2021 hunting season. Hunting in Brazil: What are the options? Abstract In Brazil most forms of hunting and keeping of wild animals are illegal, although they remain widely practiced and are deeply culturally embedded in many regions. The drivers of such widespread non-compliance are poorly understood and evidence to support future policy decisions is generally lacking. In this paper, we seek to stimulate a critical debate on how to deal with hunting in Brazil by analysing the main factors driving non-compliance with current legislation. This is particularly timely given that several amendments to existing legislation are currently under consideration. The poacher trespassed onto clearly marked private property and shot in the direction of an occupied residence to take the buck deer. The youth witnessed the incident and appropriately made a report. The 10-year-old was the only witness to the incident. Estonian Hunters’ Society It is known that the first hunting organizations in Estonia were established in 1869 in Pärnu. A turning point in the development of hunting in Estonia was the adoption of the Hunting Act in 1934. Hunting organizations were constantly appearing and in 1967 the Estonian Hunters' Union was formed, whose members are now the majority of Estonian hunters who take care of game and hunt in about 85% of Estonian hunting grounds.
